The look of Sanjay Dutt’s character Adheera from KGF Chapter 2 was unveiled on Wednesday, which is also Dutt’s birthday. Dutt is celebrating his 61st birthday on Wednesday.
Sharing the poster, Hombale Films said his look is inspired by the ‘brutal ways of the vikings’. Dutt revealed his full-fledged first look as the menacing Adheera on his birthday last year. "It's been a pleasure working on this film and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift... Special thanks to all my fans who have always showered me with their love and support," Dutt wrote.
Dutt, with a tattooed face and bearded look, truly captures the spirit of the villain. Prashanth Neel returns as the director for the second part as well, which will see Yash don the lead role again. “The character of Adheera in KGF is very powerful. If you have seen Avengers, you know how powerful Thanos is. Adheera is as powerful as him,” Dutt had said earlier. In the first film, director Neel had ensured Adheera remained a mystery.
The production of KGF: Chapter 2 was stopped due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
