Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has tested positive for COVID-19.
The actor was shooting for his upcoming movie Jana Gana Mana. The director of the movie Dijo Jose too tested positive, according to reports. Prithviraj, who was aymptomatic, was tested after many from the crew tested positive. The shooting of the movie has been halted, Manorama Online reported.
Prithviraj took to Instagram to confirm the news and said he was under isolation and doing fine.
Prithviraj had earlier tested negative for COVID-19 after he returned from Jordan after finishing shoot of Aaadujeevitham. The team was stranded in Jordan amid the global lockdown, and returned on a special flight as part of Vande Bharat mission. Two members of Aadujeevitham crew had tested positive. Prithviraj had taken to Twitter then to share the test report of him being negative for COVID-19.
