Milind Soman booked for running nude on Goa beach

The Goa police has registered a case against actor-model Milind Soman on Friday for obscenity and publishing and transmitting obscene material in electronic form.

Pankaj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, South Goa told ANI that a case has been registered at Colva Police Station under Section 294 IPC and 67 IT Act against Soman. He said, "An organisation called Suraksha Manch had given a complaint against Soman for running nude on a beach in South Goa and then circulating those pictures on social media," he said.

This comes two days after a complaint was registered against actress Poonam Pandey for obscenity after she shot a video at a dam site in Goa. She was booked based on a complaint filed by women’s wing of Goa Forward Party. Poonam, however, received bail from a court in south Goa.

On Wednesday, Milind, who was celebrating his 55^th birthday, had shared a picture of himself running nude on a beach. Happy birthday to me! 55 and running,” he wrote alongside the picture.
