Popular Kollywood actor Kamal Haasan had once named Mollywood actor Fahad Fazil as one of his favourite actors, besides Bollywood actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shashank Arora. Now, if reports are to be believed, Fazil and Haasan will be teaming up for the veteran actor's upcoming movie, titled Vikram.

According to a Times of India report, Fahad Fazil will be playing the villain in Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for Maanagaram and Kaithi. A teaser of the movie was released on the 66th birthday of Haasan in November.

According to the report, Fazil is expected to play a politician in the movie. However, the makers of the movie are yet to confirm the report.

If the teaser of the movie is anything to go by, Vikram will be an action packed affair, with plenty of blood and gore.

The teaser opens with Haasan's character in a cabin, hiding various kinds of weapons in different places. He then sets up a feast on the dinning table and waits for the guests to arrive. Once the guests, who are seen wearing masks, settles down on the table, Haasan's character picks up two axes and throws them, possibly at his guests.

The teaser ends with a note that says, 'Once upon a time there lived a ghost named Vikram'.

The film is produced by Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International.
