Sushant Singh’s Twitter account suspended, actor ‘thanks’ Modi and BJP

Actor Sushant Singh, popular for his television show Saavdhan India: India Fights Back, was shocked to see that his Twitter account was suspended on Wednesday morning. Sushant, who has been a vocal critic of the government, took to Instagram to share the update and express anguish.

He posted a screenshot of his Twitter and wrote, "My Twitter account @sushant_says has been withheld again. Hey @twitter at least have the decency to send a notice. Thanks @narendramodi @bjp4india @rssorg_official for letting me know that I am on the right path.

Many users and celebs liks actress Swara Bhasker, filmmaker Alankrita Srivastava questioned this move and urged that his account be restored.

Sushant Singh's account was restored in a few hours after this.

In December 2019, Sushant participated in the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Soon after that, he had informed fans that he has to pay a ‘small price’ and was asked to leave Saavdhan India, the show he was hosting for a long time.
