The wait is finally over for the fans of Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth. The makers of the actor's latest movie, Annathe, has come up with a release date for the movie, after repeated postponements due to COVID-19 induced lockdowns.
Sun Pictures, the production house behind the movie, took to Twitter to announce the release date of the movie. Annathe will be a Diwali release, to hit theatres on November 4.

The first look of the movie is also expected soon, say media reports.
Earlier, it was reported that the movie would be released on for Pongal in January 2021.
Touted to be an action-thriller with enough family sentiments, the movie boasts of a ensemble cast, including Meena, Khushbu Sundar, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh and Prakash Raj. Annaatthe is the national award winner Keerthy Suresh's first movie with Rajinikanth.
The music of the movie is composed by D. Imman.
