Former Sri Lankan cricketer and captain Sanath Jayasuriya on Tuesday met Malayalam actor Mammootty, who is curently in Lanka in connection with a film shooting.

Mammootty is playing the role of a journalsit in the Malayalam movie ‘Kadugannawa Oru Yatrakuripp’, which is being shot in Sri Lanka.
The movie, directed by Ranjith, is a sequel to ‘Ninte Ormakk’ and is based on a short story ‘Kadugannawa Oru Yatrakurip’ written by MT Vasudevan Nair.
Sri Lanka which relies heavily on its tourism industry has recently announced its plans to issue longer visas for tourists.
Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) under the Department of Immigration & Emigration, can extend stay for tourists from 30 days to 6 months. Visitors who have single entry visa will be able to stay up
to 270 days. Multiple entry visas also could be extended up to a year. Persons intending to visit Sri Lanka can apply for ETA online.
