Television actress and anchor Subi Suresh passed away on Wednesday. She was 42. She was being treated for liver disease at a private hospital in Kochi.
Subi, who began her career as a comedian, went on to become a popular anchor and actor in the Malayalam industry.
Subi, who was known for her quick wit and humour, started off as a dancer and comedian in various stage shows. She soon went on to host shows like Mazhavil Manorama's Made for Each Other and Surya TV's Kutty Pattalam. She was well received by the Malayali audience. She also acted in several popular films like Grihanathan, Thaskara Lahala, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Drama, Kaaryasthan.
