The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha- Disney + Hotstar

The legal drama headlined by Kajol revolves around a housewife who is forced to return to work as a lawyer after her husband’s public scandal puts him behind bars. Directed by Suparn S Varma, The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha is the Indian adaptation of popular American series The Good Wife. Kajol said that she chose The Trial as her long-format debut on OTT because of the “right script”, and added that she could resonate with Noyonika, the central character. The Trial also features Sheeba Chaddha, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait and Gaurav Pandey.

The crime series, co-created by Sudip Sharma of Pataal Lok fame, Gunjit Chopra and Diggi Sisodia, is another eagerly anticipated release this week. The show kicks off with the discovery of a murdered NRI just before his wedding in the countryside of Punjab. What follows is a probe into the world of secrets of a dysfunctional family. The show features an ensemble cast of Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Varun Badola, Harleen Sethi, Rachel Shelly, and Manish Chaudhary.
Bird Box Barcelona: Netflix

A Spanish spin-off on Netflix's post-apocalyptic drama Bird Box, the plot revolves a man named Sebastian and his young daughter Anna as they set out a journey of survival through the streets of Barcelona. The new film builds further on the dangerous world from the 2018 Sandra Bullock-starrer, where people must blindfold themselves to protect themselves from mysterious forces that push them to commit suicide. According to reports, the film uses Josh Malerman's novel of the same name as source material, but takes it in a different direction.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2: Amazon Prime Video

The second season of the coming-of-age romantic drama will take viewers to the summer at Cousins Beach with a love triangle at the centre of it. The first three episodes will arrive on Friday, followed by one episode every week.
