Meghan Markle's Suits sets new streaming record four years after it ends

In second position is The Witcher with 1.31 billion minutes of viewing

Suits, a legal drama starring Gabriel Macht and Meghan Markle has set a new streaming record after it recorded 3.14 billion minutes of watch time in the week of June 26-July 2. The show, which ended in 2019 became available on Netflix on June 23. According to Nielsen’s streaming ratings, the series surpassed the previous mark of 2.49 billion minutes for Manifest

In second position is The Witcher with 1.31 billion minutes of viewing, followed by The Bear with 1.01 billion minutes. The numbers are only for views on television sets and in the US. Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle played the role of Rachel Zane in the series. She exited the series after season seven when she got engaged to Prince Harry in 2017. 

Other series that did well are the final season of Jack Ryan with 778 million minutes of watch time and Disney+’s Secret Invasion with 464 million minutes. The children's series Bluey did well too, with 803 million minutes, and so did The Big Bang Theory with 602 million minutes.

Meghan Markle's marriage to Prince Harry is reportedly under strain. The couple, who might move to Malibu, is under strain, especially since the fallout of the Prince's autobiography titled 'Spare'. Harry has attacked several members of the royal family in the book, which has turned many of his friends and family against the couple. This has put a strain on the couple's relationship. The couple has also been surrounded by divorce rumours since then and the Sussexes are said to be spending time apart.

The pair are also reportedly worried about their financial future in the US after their $20 million deal with Spotify got terminated.
