A blend of interesting movies and shows await OTT viewers this week. Sushmita Sen's eagerly anticipated Taali arrives this week, along with Raj & DK's latest show Guns & Gulaabs.

Release date: August 15

The biographical drama series fronted by Sushmita Sen chronicles the life of transgender activist Gauri Sawant. The Mumbai-based activist founded the Sakhi Char Chowghi Trust and was the first trans person to petition the Supreme Court to allow transgender individuals to adopt children. Written by Kshitij Patwardhan, Taali is directed by filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.

Depp vs Heard: Netflix

The docu-series chronicles the infamous defamation trail featuring Hollywood stars and former spouses Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. One of the most interesting releases this week, the documentary sheds light on different aspects of the trial based on the court transcripts, and also examines the media coverage and social media frenzy over the testimonies of the actors. Directed by Emma Cooper, the three-part series was originally aired by Channel 4 in May.

My Dad the Bounty Hunter season 2: Netflix

The sci-fi animated series aimed at family audiences returns for a fresh season after positive reviews for the first season. The plot revolves around an adventurous inter-galactic journey after a bounty hunter accidentally takes his two kids along on a mission. In season 2, the kids, Sean and Lisa, are back on an adventure—but this time their mom's on board too.

Guns and Gulaabs: Netflix

Creator duo Raj & DK of The Family Man fame return with an action-packed show set in a world of crime in the '90s. Inspired by the Misfits of the World, Guns & Gulaabs is a story that depicts love and innocence though it is set in a world of crime, as per the official description of the series. The upcoming series features Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salman, Gulshan Devaiah and Adarsh Gourav.
