The big Bollywood-cum-political wedding of the year is finally here. Actress Parineeti Chopra will tie the knot with AAP leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur on Sunday.

The flamboyant city is buzzing with excitement as per-wedding festivities proceed in the presence of family and friends. According to Times of India, the actress's 'choora ceremony' was held on Saturday morning, and the sangeet will be held later in the evening at the Leela Palace. While the wedding ceremony scheduled between 3.30 – 4pm at the Leela Palace on Sunday, the reception gala will also be held in Udaipur from 8.30 pm.

While there is no official confirmation about the guest list, Raghav's AAP colleagues, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are expected to attend.

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar and designer Manish Malhotra are also on the guest list for the high profile wedding, reports said. Parineeti will wear a wedding lehenga designed by Manish, but the groom is said to have opted for a traditional piece designed by his maternal uncle and designer Pawan Sachdeva.

However, one of the most anticipated guests is likely to skip the big day. Parineeti's cousin Priyanka Chopra is unlikely to fly in from Los Angeles. The actress took to Instagram stories to share a wish for her dear sister, sparking speculations that Priyanka may not attend the wedding in person.

Sharing a picture of Parineeti, Priyanka wrote, “I hope you are happy and content as this on your big day little one…always wishing you so much love. #newbeginnings.” It was reported that Priyanka will be attending the wedding with her daughter Malti Marie.

Priyanka was present at Parineeti and Raghav's engagement in May this year.
