Actor, and film-maker Prithviraj Sukumaran, on Tuesday, broke his silence on the movie starring him and Telugu star Prabhas, Salaar, clashing with Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Both Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, helmed by KGF director Prashant Neel and Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani is slated for a Christmas release. The plausible clash between two heavyweight films has been the talk of town for a while now.
"I am not quite sure about the promotional plans yet. The makers will let us know in November how they intend to roll out the film. I am in touch with Prashanth Neel, the director. But the fact that we are releasing alongside films by Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan leaves everything else aside; as a film lover, I absolutely love it!” Prithviraj Sukumaran told Pinkvilla.
Both the films are said to have opposite themes. Prithviraj had to undergo knee surgery due to an accident he was involved in while shooting for a Malayalam film, Vilayath Buddha. He is currently shooting for L2E- Empuraan, which also stars Mohanlal. He also said that he will be watching both the films.
There were rumours on social of Dunki, Rajkumar's first film with Shah Rukh Khan being postponed, but sources have said that the movie isn't getting postponed.
