Tiger 3 advance bookings collects 8 crore

'The movie has been able to attract audience attention beyond the Hindi belt'

Tiger 3 has been a much-awaited film, not just for fans of Salman Khan, but for fans of the newly formed Yashraj Spy Verse. The movie slated for release on Diwali, November 12, has sold 2.75 lakh tickets in advance bookings already, collecting more than Rs 8 crore. The movie directed by Maneesh Sharma opened for booking on Saturday. 

With five more days for release, the pre-booking collections aren't expected to gather more speed. Except for the two Shah Rukh Khan films-- Jawan and Pathaan, Tiger 3 has recorded the biggest advance for a feature film from Hindi in the post-pandemic world. 

At the three-day pre-booking stage, Gadar 2 sold about 62,000 tickets and Brahmastra sold 66,000 tickets. Overall, Tiger 3 remains the fifth highest earner from the advance sale of tickets this year after Jawan, Pathaan, Gadar 2 and Adipurush

Certain theatres are expected to have 24x7 shows of the movie. According to sources, There will be a surge of demand from across the nation for Tiger 3 in the coming days. 

"Considering the huge fan following of Salman Khan across the country, and with its dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu, the movie has been able to attract audience attention beyond the Hindi belt," Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, PVR INOX Limited, told PTI.
