Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra on Twitter shared a post, commemorating 30 years of the movie, kajoBaazigar. The movie, which was released on November 12 1993, was also Shetty's debut film. The movie, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, saw Khan in a negative role.
“Baazigar and I completed 30 YEARS on 12th November! Thank you… @rtnjnji and #Venus for being my guiding light. So blessed to have you in my life@iamsrk… for being a true Baazigar and my one and only acting school Was your co-actor but your fan then, now, and forever Abbas bhai & Mastan bhai… for handling me with kid gloves and having more faith in me than myself,” Shetty wrote.
Baazigar went on to be an iconic film, especially with songs like 'Baazigar O Baazigar' and 'Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhein.'
On November 12, actor Kajol wrote on social media platform X, “Baazigar completes 30 years.. This set was a whole lot of firsts .. The first time I worked with Saroj Ji, the first time I met @iamsrk. The first time I met @The_AnuMalik… and me all of 17 when I started the film .. Abbas bhai and Mustan bhai actually treated me with all the indulgence of a favourite child. And how can I forget @therealXT, @iamjohnylever @TheShilpaShetty..
Shetty in her post went on to thank Kajol for befriending her and teaching her how to be bold. While Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan went on to do several movies together, Shilpa Shetty went on to do only one other movie with him-- Cash. She then made a special appearance in Om Shanti Om. Baazigar also starred Johnny Lever and Dilip Tahil.
