Hrithik Roshan starrer War 2 is a film eagerly awaited by fans of the now expanding YRF spyverse. Post Pathaan and Tiger 3, fans seem to be craving more action. War 2, starring NTR Jr. and Kiara Advani now has a release date. It is set to hit theatres on August 14 2025.

Makers of the film gave a peek into the teaser of the film at the end of Tiger 3. War was released in 2019 with Vaani Kapoor and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. War 2 will be the sixth movie in the YRF spyverse after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The movie directed by Ayan Mukerji, will form the premise for the biggest movie in the YRF spyverse ever-- Pathaan vs Tiger.
Shooting for the film is likely to begin in February 2024. Another Hrithik Roshan release to look forward would be Fighter, on January 25 2024. Fighter also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. NTR Jr was last seen in the blockbuster RRR, which was released in 2022. Kiara Advani was last seen in Satyaprem ki Katha.
