Shah Rukh Khan says Dunki is 'my best film'

SRK Universe, a fan club, is set to organise a show at 5.55 am for the film at Gaiety

The much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan film Dunki is set for release on December 21. Khan, who plays Hardyal Singh Dhillon or Hardy in the film, has kicked off promotions for the film. He was in Dubai, recently, promoting the movie, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani.

Khan enthralled the crowd gathered by dancing to one of his evergreen tracks, 'Chaiyya Chaiyya'. At the event, he also said Dunki is his best film. Khan was asked, three words for Dunki, to which he replied, “Rajkumar Hirani, my best film, please watch on 21st December.”

At the event, King Khan as he is fondly known, said, “ I started the year with Pathaan, which was always ladies first, and I want to end the year with a film for myself.” “Raju Hirani saab ne bhi kabhi aesi film nahi banai. When we finished the film and saw it for the first time, humko aisa laga Raju Hirani saab ne love story bana di hai which spans ages. And it’s a very touching film. I think yeh pyaar ki kahani hai, ismein action hai joh Raju Hirani ne kabhi dala nahi hai,” he added, Bollywood Hungama reported.

SRK Universe touted as the biggest Shah Rukh fan club, is set to organise an early morning show of the superstar's upcoming film Dunki on the day of its release on December 21 at Gaiety Cinema in Mumbai. "After first ever 9am show at Gaiety (#Pathaan), first ever 6am show at Gaiety (#Jawan) thrilled to announce we are organizing first ever 5.55 am show at Gaiety (555) for Dunki! (sic)" the fan club wrote on its page on the social media network X.
