Season 8 of Koffee with Karan gave us a few memorable episodes. It began with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on the couch, with them sharing a video from their wedding in Italy. The season saw guests like Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Jahnvi and Khushi Kapoor; the season ended with divas Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman gracing the couch.
The filmmaker and producer Karan Johar said that the final episode of season 8 will end with the Koffee awards. The show recorded 5.5 million views for five weeks in a row, according to Ormax Media. “Topping the charts for the entire season!!! All 12 episodes!!! Our next is the Koffee Awards which be the final episode of the season!” Johar wrote on his Instagram stories.
In the last episode, Zeenat Aman, when asked, who would be a good choice to play the iconic role of Rupa from the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram if made today, said it would be Deepika Padukone. The 1978 movie starred Shashi Kapoor and Zeenat Aman in the lead roles.
The star will next be seen in Bun Tikki alongside Abhay Deol and Shabana Azmi. The eighth season, which was filled with gup-shup and pizazz, also featured cousins Rani Mukerji and Kajol; it also brought together sisters-in-law Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
