From industrialists to politicians, some of the nation's who's who will attend the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Several celebrities-- Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood-- will be in attendance.
As per reports, Amitabh Bachchan will fly in a chartered plane on Monday for the inauguration. The actor recently bought a plot worth Rs 14.5 crore in The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya, where he intends to build a home. Actor Rajinikanth was invited by BJP leader Arjunamurthy, on behalf of the Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra.
Reportedly, actor Kangana Ranaut has been invited too. In an interview with ANI, she said, "Those visiting Ayodhya Dham not only find peace of mind but also walk away with divine bliss while becoming better and wiser versions of themselves. It is our biggest and most-avowed dham like the Vatican is for Christians. This city holds a lot of significance not just for the country but even beyond its shores. We are fortunate that Lord Ram has given us the wisdom to visit and worship him here...We are all awaiting the Pran Pratishtha on January 22, which will usher in Ram Rajya."
Actor Akshay Kumar had received an invite, so have actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat. A statement released by film producer Mahavir Jain, read, "Shri Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS; Shri Ajay Mudpe, Prant Prachar Pramukh, RSS Konkan; and producer Mahaveer Jain met Alia and Ranbir today and invited them for Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Mandir Pranpratishtha Ceremony to be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya."
Cricket star Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma received an invite, and so did South Indian star Ram Charan and wife Upasana Kamineni. Built in the traditional Nagara style, each floor of the temple will be 20 feet high and the temple will have 392 pillars in total and 44 gates.
Malayalam actor Mohanlal has been sent an invite, so has actor Madhuri Dixit and her husband Shriram Nene. Ajay Devgn is expected to be in attendance, and so are singers Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Shankar Mahadevan, Anup Jalota, Sonu Nigam, and Anuradha Paudwal.
