Dharmatic Entertainment ropes in Tamannaah Bhatia for new series

The series is currently in pre-production and will feature two women

Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Dharma Productions has roped in actor Tamannaah Bhatia for a dramedy for Prime Video India. The title of the project is being kept under wraps. The series will be directed by Archit Kumar of Dr Arora fame.

The series is currently in pre-production. It will feature two women-- casting for the second lead is underway. The first project of Dharmatic Entertainment is Showtime, starring Emraan Hashmi and Nasseeruddin Shah, which is set to release in summer 2024. Nandini Gupta, Mithun Gangopadhyay and Aarsh Vora are the writers of the show.

Shooting for the series starring Bhatia will begin in March or April. Bhatia was last seen in the Malayalam film Bandra, alongside Dileep. She has done three digital projects before-- Prime Video’s Jee Karda, Netflix’s Plan A Plan B and Disney+Hotstar’s Aakhiri Sach.

She will next be seen in Vedaa opposite John Abraham, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bole Chudiyan, and Tamil movie Arnamanai 4.
