It is the last week of January and we are back with the list of new shows and movies releasing on OTT platforms. From the fourth and final instalment of the 'After' series to Donald Glover's 'Mr and Mrs Smith' viewers have an exciting lineup to look forward to.

1. The Greatest Night In Pop

Release date: January 29

Streaming platform: Netflix

On a January 25 night in 1985, music's biggest stars gathered to record "We Are the World." The Netflix documentary team goes behind the scenes of the event to see how all of the artists came together to make history. The documentary features Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones, Cyndi Lauper and several other musicians who talk about that night.

2. Orion and the Dark

Release date: February 2

Streaming platform: Netflix

The animated comedy adventure movie talks about a young boy named Orion who is afraid of the dark. Orion faces his biggest fear when he accompanies Dark on a rollercoaster ride. Dark makes him understand that there is nothing to be afraid of. Jacob Tremblay plays the lead character Orion.

3. After Everything: The Final Chapter 

Release date: February 1

Streaming platform: Netflix

The fourth and final instalment of the After series is based on the 2014 novel by Anna Todd. The movie follows the story of Tessa and Hardin and their romantic relationship. Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford essay the roles of Hardin and Tessa. 

4. Choir

Release date: January 31

Streaming platform: Disney+ Hotstar

'Choir' is a six-part docu-series that revolves around the members of the Detroit Youth Choir. The series looks into the rehearsals of a breathtaking performance. The choir members talk about how they push each other to bring out the best version of themselves.

5. Mr and Mrs Smith

Release date: February 2

Streaming platform: Amazon Prime Video

The American spy movie is based on the 2005 movie of the same name. The movie revolves around two strangers who get jobs as spies and pretend to be a married couple. Maya Erskine and Donald Glover essay the role of Mr and Mrs Smith. The series is directed by Francesca Sloane and Donald Glover 

6. Alexander: The Making of a God

Release date: January 31

Streaming platform: Netflix

The Netflix series looks into the extraordinary life of Alexander the Great. The series uses historical evidence and accounts to trace back the life of Alexander and his desire to conquer the world. Buck Braithwaite essays the role of Alexander the Great. The series is directed by Hugh Ballantyne.
