Rapper Badshah to headline at UNTOLD music festival in Dubai

The rapper will become the first Indian to perform at UNTOLD

Renowned rapper Badshah will perform at UNTOLD, one of the largest music festivals in the world. The rapper will become the first Indian to be a part of the UNTOLD festival. Last year, the festival was held in Romania. This year the festival is being held in Dubai from 15th-18th February.

Badshah, known for hits like 'Genda Phool' and 'Let it Flow', will be one of the main stage headliners on day two of the festival. The 38-year-old musician will join the likes of Armin van Buuren, Bebe Rexha, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Paul Kalkbrenner, Timmy Trumpet and more. 

Badshah, in a statement, said, “I’m thrilled to be performing alongside some stellar acts at UNTOLD Dubai. Looking forward to taking India to the world!” The UNTOLD festival, made the announcement on its Instagram page.

Badshah has been a playback singer in Bollywood films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Street Dancer 3D and Veere Di Wedding. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, he became the only rapper to appear in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 as one of the highest-paid celebrities in India. 

The festival will present a lineup of over 100 artists offering an eclectic fusion of musical genres across four days, with each stage presenting a distinct musical odyssey.
