Director Karan Johar recently shared an ad that featured Aamir Khan as an old man. Co-starring in the ad was Darsheel Safary, who starred with Khan in Taare Zameen Par in 2007.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Johar wrote, “Here is what #AamirKhan has been up to. Totally charged!? @chargedbythumsup"
The actor plays 'dadu' or grandfather to the young actor. He takes the 26-year-old Safary through various adventures through time. The advert is for Charged, a drink by Thums Up.
In the ad, the actor can be heard saying, “mind charged, body charged.” And towards the end of the ad, Safary can be heard saying the same. The ad begins with Safary sharing his problems with his grandfather-- not getting admission to the college he wants, when Khan asks him to take a sip of the beverage, which takes him through various adventures, with the last one being Khan shown as a caveman, who makes a fire.
Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which was released in 2022. Safary, After acting in Taare Zameen Par, has appeared in films like Bumm Bumm Bole, Zokkomon and Midnight's Children.
