'Thala' Ajith Kumar's latest film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran has been named 'Good Bad Ugly', it was revealed on Thursday.
Set to hit theatres during Pongal 2025, Good Bad Ugly's shooting will begin in June.
'Good Bad Ugly' will be the first Ajith-starrer in 22 years to come out with an English title for his film after 22 years, Times Of India (TOI) said in a report! The last projects of the Tamil superstar to have English titles were 'Red' and 'Villain', which hit theatres in 2002, the report claimed. Ever since, every Ajith Kumar movie had Tamil titles.

“It’s a delight to team up with Ajith Kumar sir. Adhik’s directorial craftsmanship has been very much evident with his previous films, and this one has ingredients that will take him to the next level,” producer Y Ravi Shankar was quoted as saying about the project by Hindustan Times.
Reacting to the announcement of the movie, director Adhik Ravichandran reportedly said, “There are priceless moments in everyone’s life and career, and this one is beyond my belief. Working with my matinee idol AK sir has been a long cherished dream and I’m emotionally overwhelmed working with him. I thank producers Naveen Yerneni sir and Ravi Shankar sir for this opportunity.”

The 1991-born director's last project was the time-travel action-comedy Mark Antony that hit theatres last year. Ajith Kumar was last seen in 'Thunivu' in 2023 and 'Vidaa Muyarchi' is expected to be released later this year.
