Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have announced they will be producing two lifestyle shows on lifestyle and polo. The first one will focus on cooking, gardening, friendship and entertaining. The second will give “unprecedented access to the world of professional polo” and the US Open Polo Championship in Florida, Netflix said.
The series will be produced under the duo's Archwell Productions. The couple's first foray into the entertainment world was when Meghan hosted a podcast, 'Archetypes', on Spotify. The couple then released a docu-series, which gave insight into the couple's fallout with the royal family. They also released Heart of Invictus, which followed service members and veterans as they prepared for the Invictus Games.
Meghan was an actor before she got married to Prince Harry and was known for her role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. Following their split from the royal family, Prince Harry also came out with a memoir, Spare. Another book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family was released in August 2020. this was written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.
Titles and release dates of the shows will be announced in the coming months. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, last month, sent out a message to the Princess of Wales after she opened up about her cancer diagnosis. Harry and Meghan, in a statement, said, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”
