The Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music’s most awaited event, will take place on May 16 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas. Country Music’s biggest names will come together to celebrate the best and brightest stars of the genre at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards.
Reba McEntire will host this year’s festivities. Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton will rock the stage with their scintillating performances.
Luke Combs leads the pack with eight nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Single of the Year. Tennessee Orange hitmaker Megan Moroney is the most nominated female artist with six nominations. Morgan Wallen also earned six nominations this year including album of the year for 'One Thing At A Time', which spent 19 weeks as no 1 on the All Genre Billboard 200 Chart, setting a new record for the Country album. Wallen is also nominated for Single of the Year for 'Last night', which is the longest running no 1 solo song in the history of Billboard Hot 100 with 16 weeks on top.
