Even as Kalki 2898 AD continues to shatter box office records, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who watched the movie on Tuesday night, called it a "grand cinematic spectacle." Kalki 2898 AD stars Singh's partner Deepika Padukone along with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.
Taking to Instagram stories, he said this is what big-screen cinema is all about, and called the movie “The very best in Indian cinema.”
An unprecedented level of finesse in technical execution wrote Ranveer Singh.
Further, he congratulated the director of the film Nag Ashwin, and hailed the performances of its lead stars Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.
"And if you are a die-hard Amitabh Bachchan fan like me, you just can't miss this!" the actor wrote.
Praising Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh wrote: "You elevate every moment with your grace & dignity. Such poignancy, such poetry, such power. You are beyond compare."

A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan had saidhe saw Kalki 2898 AD for the first time with Abhishek Bachchan and a few friends at a theatre in Mumbai.
"A Sunday of Sundays .. the well wishers at GOJ and then to Kalki with some friends to see on big screen .. seeing film for first time .. and the experience of an IMAX, and the facilities and environ at the theatre .. so impressive , the elegance and aesthetics in the facility .. had not been out for years .. but so satisfying to be out to witness all the progress .. (sic)" the actor wrote about Kalki 2898 AD.
