Mollywood legends Mohanlal and Mammootty will feature in separate works in an anthology series—titled Manoradhangal—scripted by Malayalam literary doyen M.T. Vasudevan Nair. Popular South Indian star Fahadh Faasil too is part of the anthology series that will be released on OTT Platform ZEE5.
The trailer of Manoradhangal, which will be released on August 15, has been launched recently.
Mahesh Narayanan, Priyadarshan, and Shayamprasad are among the directors of the anthology series.
Two of the works in the series, Shilalikhatam and Ollavum Theeravum, which will have Mohanlal in the lead, will be directed by Priyadarshan. Ranjith will direct a film titled Kadugannava Oru Yathra.
Kazhcha will be directed by Shayamprasad, Vilpana will be helmed by Aswathy V. Nair and Mahesh Narayanan will direct Sherlock, which will have Fahadh Faasil in the lead.
Manoradhangal will also feature narration by pan India star Kamal Haasan.
Other popular actors who are part of the project include Parvathy Thiruvothu, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Nadiya Moidu, Shanthi Krishna, Aparna Balamurali, Indrajith, Indrans, Siddique and Harish Uthaman.
Parvathy Thiruvothu will star in Kazhcha which has Shayamprasad at its helm. Aparna Balamurali and Indrajith are the lead in Kadalkkattu, directed by Rathish Ambat.
Manoradhangal will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
