Popular Malayalam actors Arjun Ashokan and Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame sustained injuries when the car they were travelling in rammed into two bikes during the shooting of the movie Bromance on Saturday.
According to media reports, the cast and crew of the film were shooting a chasing sequence when the accident took place.
One of the bike riders, a food delivery executive, sustained an injury on his leg after the car rammed into his bike.
Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap and the delivery boy have been rushed to the hospital. The actors have sustained only minor injuries.
Witnesses on the scene told Manorama News, the car with the actors collided with the bike and toppled after hitting another bike. The car has been totally damaged.
However, according to a Malayala Manorama report, the car was not driven by the actors, but a crew member from the stunt team.
The police reached the scene and cleared the vehicles. Following the accident, the shooting of Bromance was called off.
A case for rash driving has been registered. According to media reports, the shooting was being done without proper safety precautions.
