Fahadh Faasil-starrer comedy action drama, Aavesham, directed by Jithu Madhavan, was one of the major hits of Mollywood in 2024.
Also starring, Sajin Gopu, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shanavas, Aavesham appealed to critics, cinephiles, and regular moviegoers alike, as it had the perfect blend of comedy, action, and drama.
Aavesham received widespread acclaim even outside Kerala, with the movie crossing a box office collection of Rs 100 crore.
Now, a section of Telugu movie enthusiasts on social media are claiming that the movie is being remade into the language with Balayya (Nandamuri Balakrishna) in the lead.

However, there is no official confirmation on Aavesham being remade into Telugu with Balayya playing the role of Ranga, played by Fahadh Faasil in the original.

Media reports had earlier said that Harish Shankar will be directing Balayya in his next. This has given further credence to the speculations that Aavesham is being remade in Telugu.
Harish Shankar is currently directing Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which is an official remake of the 2016 Kollywood movie Theri.
