The much-awaited trailer of the Suriya-starrer Kanguva is finally here, and it promises to be a thrilling ride.
The trailer was dropped on the birthday of the director, Siva. "Incredibly proud of all that we have done together as a team," Suriya wrote on X, sharing the trailer of the movie and wishing the director on his birthday.
Incredibly proud of all that we have done together as a team, thank you, have a very very happy birthday dearest Siva!! Here’s our #Kanguvatrailer for you dear all!https://t.co/QomY66vsLZ #Kanguva @directorsiva @ThisIsDSP @DishPatani @vetrivisuals @StudioGreen2 @saregamasouth

The movie also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, and Yogi Babu in the lead.
Although the two-minute-37-seconds long trailer holds back much of the plot line, it does offer some insights into what you can expect—high-octane action, some bloody confrontations and an intriguing drama.
The trailer begins with the narration by an old woman, saying, "Many, many mysteries lie scattered in this island we live in. But the most baffling mystery of them all..."
The trailer shows two tribes, headed by the characters of Bobby Deol and Suriya, heading for a bloody war. The trailer suggests that Suriya is a fierce warrior with the power of a 100 men.
Kanguva is translated as the man with the power of fire, and if the trailers is anything to go by, the film promises plenty of fire and bloodshed.
Kanguva is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
