Prashanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 1 and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD is in the past. Telugu icon Prabhas is geared up for the next, and if reports are true, the Baahubali actor's next will be a period drama. The historical thriller will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Dancer-actor Imanvi and iconic actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada will join Prabhas in main roles in the movie, reports said. Mythri Movie Makers on Saturday, shared pictures from the pooja ceremony of the yet-to-be-named film in Hyderabad on X (formerly Twitter).
Prashanth Neel attended the pooja ceremony, photos showed.
"When wars were a battle for supremacy, ONE WARRIOR redefined what they were FOUGHT for...
...a HISTORICAL FICTION set in the 1940s," the production house revealed on the microblogging platform.
The shooting of the film is set to begin on August 24 in Hyderabad and is scheduled for a late-2025 release, some reports claimed.
Sudeep Chatterjee ISC will be behind the camera and Vishal Chandrasekhar will helm the music department of the movie.
Like Ram Charan in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR, is Prabhas going to don the British-Indian uniform in this project? Only time will tell!
