Dhanush's second directorial 'Raayan' got positive reviews after its theatrical release. It also marks the 50th movie of the 40-year-old star. The film follows the story of four siblings who flee their village and find refuge in the city. The gangster drama features Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar amongst others alongside Dhanush.
Kalki 2898 AD

Nag Ashwin's box office hit Kalki 2998 AD will make its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. The movie takes a futuristic spin on Hindu mythology, featuring Kalki, the tenth avatar of Vishnu prophesied to restore dharma (righteousness) at the end of Kali Yuga. Kalki 2898 AD features a star-studded cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan. Since its release, the film has emerged as one of the biggest films of 2024, earning over Rs 1,100 crore at the worldwide box office.

Jay K's second directorial 'Grrr..' is set to hit the marquee this week. Inspired by absurd real-life events, the movie looks into how a drunk man essayed by Kunchacko Boban deliberately jumps into a lion's cage in a zoo and how the zookeeper played by Suraj Venjaramoodu attempts to save him. The movie promises truckloads of fun and laughter riots. Shruti Ramachandran, Anagha Maruthora and Alencier Lopez are among the other cast members in the film.

An experimental movie helmed by editor Saiju Sreedharan, 'Footage' revolves around a young couple who gets into trouble. Penned by Shabna Mohammed and Saiju Sreedharan, Footage is the first found-footage film made in Malayalam. Manju Warrier, Vishak Nair, and Gayathri Ashok play pivotal roles in the movie.
Harold and the Purple Crayon

The movie is a live-action-animated film based on the children's book by Crockett Johnson of the same name. The movie follows the imaginative adventures of Harold, who possesses a magical purple crayon that brings his drawings to life. Zachary Levi essays the role of Harold along with Lil Rel Howery and Benjamin Bottani.
