Fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content creator Insha Ghaii Kalra recently took to Instagram to announce the death of her husband Ankit Kalra. He was 29.
Posting a picture of Ankit with the words, 'In loving memory of Ankit Kalra. 24-03-1995 – 19-08-2024', she wrote: "Take me one day back. I promise to do things differently! Come back baby, please? I miss you."
“Ankit, you left me to be with God, and it’s so unfair. Our 1.5 years together were far too short. That morning, I had no idea it would be our last. I’m still in denial, praying that this is all just a terrible dream and i’ll wake up on your side,” she wrote in another post.
It appears that that there have been fake social media posts about the death as the influencer in an Instagram story, urged people to not “overshare” fake news about his death. She also revealed that he died due to a cardiac arrest.
“To all those making fake assumptions. He was a healthy person and had no medical history. It was unexpected and sudden cardiac arrest while sleeping. So please, if you can not support the family in their tough times, please don't overshare fake news," Insha Ghaii wrote.
She also thanked the people who extended their sympathy and support.
"As much as this loss hurts, we're unable to respond to everyone. You sympathy and support during this difficult time is appreciated, kt has surely made a difference in our lives during this time of sorrow."
Ankit Kalra, an interior designer and builder, and Insha Ghaii got married on January 15, 2023.
They were popular for their humorous couple content on Instagram.
