The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards saw top artists on television taking home the coveted awards on Sunday night. The latest edition of Emmys was hosted by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy of Schitt's Creek fame. 

Shōgun, Hacks and The Bear won big in the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards. Shōgun, which received 25 nominations, bagged the Outstanding Drama Series while its cast Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai clinched the awards for lead actor and actress in a drama series. In total, Shōgun won 18 Emmys for Season 1. This is the highest for a single season in the history of Emmys.

Hacks won the Outstanding Comedy Series award. FX show The Bear got 23 nominations, the highest for a comedy series, saw its cast Jeremy Allen White and Liza Colón-Zayas won awards for lead actor and supporting actress in a comedy series respectively.
