Veteran Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan landed in France earlier this week to attend and participate in Paris Fashion Week. She walked the Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris ramp in a stunning red gown, drawing praise from fans. But, it was her hairstyle before she walked the ramp that grabbed the attention of the netizens.
Aishwarya was seen sporting a half-up half-down look – the top of her hair still in rollers to secure her curls.
In the now viral pictures, she is seen posing with her daughter Aaradhya, along with singer Camilla Cabello and actress Eva Longoria.
She was spotted sitting in the front row of the ramp walk, chatting with Simone Ashley and Cara Delevingne, with many fans questioning the updo, and blaming her hairstylist.
“Who let her leave the dressing room like that?” one netizen asked.
Many fans came to her defence, speculating that her hair was in rollers as the videos and photos were taken prior to the ramp walk, and she was just letting her hair sit and cool down.
Despite the criticism, Aishwarya turned heads during the show, where she wore an elegant red gown with a trail which read, “We are worth it”—inspired by L'Oréal’s tagline, “Because you're worth it”.
Aishwarya has been the global brand ambassador for L'Oréal since 2004.
