Mollywood actor Jayasurya denied sexual harassment allegations levelled against him after the release of Justice Hema committee report. Jayasurya appeared before the Special Investigation Team probing the sexual assault allegations in Malayalam cinema on Tuesday.
Talking to presspersons after appearing before SIT for questioning, Jayasurya said the allegations were fake. “There are two allegations levelled against me and both are fake. One of the complainants has said about an incident that allegedly happened during the shooting of the film ‘Pigman’, in 2013 at Thodupuzha. The shooting of the film was actually completed in 2011 itself and it was not at Thodupuzha, but at Koothatukulam,” the actor said.
He also denied the second allegation against him, were the complainant alleged Jayasurya invited her to his flat in Thiruvananthapuram during the shooting of a film in 2008. “Such fake allegations are being levelled against him. This will only silence sincere voices,” he said. The actor said he would fight till the end and he is a ‘living martyr’.
