77th Cannes Film Festival 2024

All We Imagine as Light gained media attention when it won the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. This award is the second-most prestigious award after the Palme d'Or, which went to Sean Baker's Anora.

The movie created history by being the first Indian film to win the award. It was also the first ever film by an Indian female director to be showcased in the main competition, receiving an outstanding eight-minute standing ovation.
