After the tragic death of Liam Payne, his fans are wondering what would happen to the massive fortune accumulated by the 31-year-old in his short career span.

The One Direction star was vacationing in Buenos Aires, Argentina when he fell from the balcony of the third-floor room of his hotel room on October 16. With his demise, it has been revealed that all the wealth amassed by the singer will go to his seven-year-old son Bear.

What was Liam Payne's net worth?

Liam Payne's net worth was $70 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The singer in 2022 opened up in an interview, saying, "My life now is his, my money is his." He said he had companies that are up and running and his son could run them one day or could sell them if he wanted to.

Payne had earlier bought a $4 million home for his former wife Cheryl Tweedy and their son Bear in Buckinghamshire village. In one of his final posts, Payne said Bear is a big boy and looks like a "mini me". Later, he bought a home nearby as part of co-parenting and he often said she was "the best mum in the world".

A month ago, Liam had appealed to his fans to donate to charity, saying there are websites out there to donate to sick children. "It doesn't matter how small or how big the donation is, all that matters is you looking in that child's eyes."

He had several luxury cars, including Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Lamborghini Aventador, Mini Cooper S and Cadillac Escalade.

Fortune from musical career and fame

Payne first made a mark when he auditioned for X Factor, where he was put in the boy band, One Direction, along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Though they got eliminated from the show, One Direction quickly shook the world music scene and four of their albums became number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

After Payne decided to go solo, his hit single Strip That Down dropped in 2017. He was the global ambassador or fashion brand Hugo Boss. He also released his own NFT digital art collection titled 'Lonely Bug'.

Liam's booking amount was estimated to be around $150,000 to $300,000 for a single show. He had 33 million followers on X and 27.1 million on Instagram.
