If you have watched Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives on Netflix, you might have come across a few charming women. One of the stars from the show that struck a chord with the fans was Shalini Passi, a socialite and the wife of a Delhi-based millionaire.
Who is Shalini Passi?
Born and raised in Delhi, Shalini Passi, 48, is a former state-level gymnast. On the Netlfix show, she quickly became a favourite of the fans, with many calling her a "straightforward and charming" personality. She has also captivated the audience with her fashion statement, making her stand out from rest of the stars.
Shalini is the founder of MASH India, which supports emerging artists, as well as The Shalini Passi Art Foundation. A well-known face in the art and fashion circles of Delhi, she is a member of Khoj Advisory Board and a patron of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
Shalini and her family lives in a 20,000 square foot home in Delhi's Golf Links. Her huband Sanjay Passi chairs the Pasco Group, one of the top Tata Motors dealers. In 2021-22, the company achieved a turnover of Rs 2,690 crore. The couple has a son named Robin Passi. The family donated Rs 10 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in 2021. Sanjay was once the country's highest taxpayer, winning Aaykar Ratna Award for the same in 1999.
Besides Shalini, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives also introduced socialites like Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Kalyani Saha Chawla to the show in the new season. The existing circle includes Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Panday, Seema Sajdeh and Maheep Kapoor.
