Salman Khan was earlier accused of killing two blackbucks in 1998 but a court has acquitted the actor. The animal is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community.
The latest agitation on Saturday was carried out over Salim Khan's recent remarks, which the community said was misleading. Salim Khan earlier told ABP that his son Salman was innocent and could not harm an animal.

However, the protesters said the Bishnois do not slander anyone for no reason and that the entire community was hurt by Salim Khan's statements. "We will make all-out efforts to ensure justice was delivered in the Blackbuck case," the group said.
They insisted that Salman should seek forgiveness for his "wrongdoing" at the Bishnoi community temple in Rajasthan.
This comes after gangster Lawrence threatened to assassinate Salman several times in the past, including after the murder of NCP MP Baba Siddique who was close to the actor. His gang had earlier fired shots outside Salman's residence in Bandra.
Police have increased the security for the actor after Siddique's murder.
