When will Mirzapur the Film release? Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Tripathi to rock theatres

Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur is now being turned into a film. Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit and Divyendu as Munna appeared in the announcement video in typical Mirzapur style.

Farhan Akhtar took to X to announce Mirzapur the Film, saying, "Ab bhaukaal bhi bada hoga, aur parda bhi. (Now the space will be bigger and so will the curtain.) #MirzapurTheFilm, coming soon."

When will Mirzapur the Film release?

Mirzapur the Film is slated for release in 2026. The movie is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment.

In the announcement video, Kaleen Bhaiya tells the viewer, "So far you have watched Mirzapur sitting on your own throne. But this time if you don't get up from your throne, it'll be a big risk."

Then Guddu Pandit joins in, saying, "Kaleen Bhaiya is absolutely right. Taking risks is our USP. And now we have changed the game entirely. Mirzapur won't come to you anymore. You will have to come to Mirzapur."

This is followed by the entry of Munna Tripathi back from the dead. "I am a Hindi film hero. And a Hindi film is best enjoyed in a theatre. Need I remind you I am immortal. And now the throne of Mirzapur will be ruled from right here. We'll go all guns blazing my dear Compounder."

The Compounder completes Munna's statement, saying, "From the first show till the last, Munna Bhaiya."

The announcement of the movie comes after Mirzapur Season 3 got rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
