Diljit Dosanjh's highly anticipated Dil-Luminati tour kicked off in Delhi on October 26, with the singer performing two consecutive sold-out shows at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

In a now viral video, posted on X (formerly Twitter), Dosanjh can be seen giving his jacket to a fan, who was overjoyed by the gesture. The video was captioned, “Men used to go to war.. now they’re shedding tears of joy because their wife got someone else’s used jacket.”

British-American influencer Andrew Tate, known for his misogynistic views and flashy lifestyle, replied to the post, “Bet it stinks of curry”.

Netizens were quick to react to his reply, with many posting caricatures of Tate.

“Still smells better than sexual misconduct,” one user wrote, referencing the sexual assault and human trafficing allegations, from Romanian authorities, against Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, which they have been battling since 2022.

Another user wrote, "Diljit is millions times the man you are baldy human trafficker, your joke ain’t funny".

Many fans also reacted to the video itself, and said it was unsettling to watch a man cry over his wife getting the singer's jacket.

One netizen wrote, “Umm...is it just me or is it weird to see a man cry over this,” while another said, “Imagine worshipping a celebrity to the level of tears.”

Many came to the man's defence. One user noted, “Maybe he is crying because he knows how happy she is.”

Dosanjh's next performance will be in Jaipur on November 3, and is set to perform 10 more shows before his final concert in Guwahati on December 29.
