After Telangana government asked Diljit Dosanjh not to use song promoting alcohol and drugs, Diljit Dosanjh has come up with a simple solution. The singer replaced alcohol in his lyrics with Coca-Cola.
The incident came to light after one of Dosanjh's fans shared the video on Instagram. In the video, Diljits sings "Coke'ch lemonade" instead of the original "daaru'ch lemonade". In another song, he replaced "bottlaan de datt pattne" with "Coke de datt pattne".
Fans were quick to react to the video. But now Coca-Cola has too responded to the clip from its official Instagram account.

Pointing out that he not a new artiste, Diljit said tweaking songs is very easy and he would feel helpless when told not to sing a song. "I will tweak the songs and people will still enjoy it," he said.
The singer also came with another offer. He said he won't sing songs about alcohol if dry day is declared in the place he performs.
He also slammed the double standards by the authorities, saying if a foreign artist comes, they can do anything without worries. "But when an Indian artist sings, then you have a problem; you have to interfere. But let me tell you, there is God. I won't let this go," Diljit said.
