AR Rahman's 'Aadujeevitham' background score wins Hollywood Music In Media Award

Calling it an incredible honour, AR Rahman said he is grateful to Hollywood Music In Media Awards for recognising his background score in Blessy's 'Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life'

AR Rahman's background score for Malayalam film, Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life has bagged the Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HHMA) 2024. He won the award in the category of Best Background Score (Foreign Language).

Rahman released a video to the thank the film team for standing by him. Calling it an incredible honour, he said he is grateful to HMMA for recognising his score. 

"The project was a labour of love, and I share this moment with my amazing team of musicians and technicians, the director Blessy and everyone who believed the vision we brought to life."

The official Instagram handle of Aadujeevitham posted, "We are thrilled to share that Aadujeevitham - The Goatlife has won the award for Best Background Score (Foreign Language) at the 2024 Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA)!”

Director Blessy received the award on stage as AR Rahman could not attend. The official post went on to say that it was a special moment for the team. 

"A huge thank you to the incredible talent AR Rahman and the entire team for their hardwork in bringing this vision to life. We are grateful for all the love and support," the post added.

This comes amid the news of Rahman and his wife, Saira Banu, parting ways after 29 years of marriage. He said all things seem to carry an unseen end and requested everyone to respect the family's privacy.
