Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi gave NOCs 'without hesitation'; Nayanthara thanks star amid Dhanush row

Days after her documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, released, actress Nayanthara thanked Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi and other producers for issuing non-objection certificates (NOCs) to use film footage for her Netflix project.

She named Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and AR Murugadoss among others.

This come amid controversy over actor Dhanush's Rs 10 crore lawsuit over usage of behind-the-scenes visuals of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which was produced by him.

Taking to Instagram, Nayanthara shared a post, thanking all the producers who issued NOCs for using footage from their movies.

"The most precious thing I've earned in these 20 years of my career is the friendships, love and respect I've got from the ones I've worked with," she wrote.

"I really thank all the producers who have supported me in this endeavour for their goodwill and magnanimity always. Thank you (namaste, halo, and red heart emojis)," she added.

The Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, which released on November 18, shows her journey from her hometown, Thiruvalla, Kerala, before she entered Malayalam film industry and later became a south Indian superstar.

Earlier, she slammed Dhanush in an open letter over his Rs 10 crore lawsuit. She pointed out that it has been around 10 years since the release of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, adding that it is a long time for some one to harbour vengeance.
