Coldplay is coming to India in January for the Asian leg of the Music of the Spheres tour. They will perform in two cities -- Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, and in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. Tickets for all the show sold out less than half-an-hour after they went live.
But there is one more chance for fans to grab tickets. Infinity Tickets – which are sold for a lower value than the original ticket amount, will be live today, November 22, at 12pm IST, on BookMyShow. The ticket price will be as low as Rs 2000 and can only be purchased in pairs.

Coldplay ticket fiasco
Tickets for the first three Mumbai shows went live in September but sold out quick. Fans later noticed that multiple third-party seller, like Viagogo, had snagged many tickets and were selling them at exobirant rates. The Enforcement Directorate initiated a probe into the illegal sale of tickets, and the Mumbai police summoned the BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani for questioning.
But sadly, for fans, a repeat of the same happened when the tickets for the Ahmedabad show went live last week.
Many took to X (formerly Twitter), and expressed their frustration at BookMyShow, for improper management and sale of tickets. One user wrote, "Why don't you directly give the tickets to the ticket scalpers? Your booking platform is a joke!" while another reacted, "Every show you add puts more money in the pockets of ticket scalpers. The level of incompetence is staggering. You're must be the worst ticketing platform @coldplay has ever partnered with. Shame on you!"
