Allu Arjun's highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule is gearing up for its big screen release. On Wednesday, the actor, and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, attended a pre-release event for the film in Kochi.
Arjun hyped up the Kerala crowd by greeting them in Malayalam. “Ella Malayalikalkkum namaskaram! (Hello to all the Malayalees!),” he said. The actor spoke very highly about his co-stars, including Mollywood actor Fahadh Faasil, who was also featured in Pushpa: The Rise.

Faasil did not attend the pre-release event, which Arjun acknowledged and said, “For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the biggest Malayalam actors, our FaFa. I actually miss seeing him today. I really wish we both were standing here together in Kerala today. I think that would have been an iconic thing. My brother, thank you. We are home, this is your house. I wish we were here together. I wish you all the best.”
The actor also praised Faasil's performance in film. “I’m telling all the Keralites here, FaFa has rocked the show in Pushpa 2. You guys will love him and he will make every Keralite proud. Mark my words.”

Rashmika also shared a few words, and admitted that she was surprised at the reception Arjun received. "I don’t know a lot of Malayalam, but I will learn more and come. I’m sorry. The love Allu Arjun is receiving from all of you has blown my mind. Thank you for all the love you’ve given him. He truly deserves it."
Speaking about Pushpa 2, she said, "On December 5, you will not be disappointed. You are going to dance with us, sing with us, and enjoy with us. I wish I could come to Kochi and watch the movie with you. If time permits, I will come.”
Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, also featuring Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwa, will hit the big screens on December 5.
