The Kapoor clan assembled to celebrate the roka ceremony of Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani, thus beginning the wedding festivities. The soon-to-be-wed couple were surrounded by their loved ones including Aadar's cousins – Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor.
In photos from the celebration, the couple beamed with joy as the cousins performed the traditional aarti and applied tika on Alekha's forehead. In one image, Aadar can be seen looking on as Ranbir, wearing a black suit, applies tika on his soon-to-be cousin's forehead, while another shows Kareena, in a deep blue and gold saree, performing aarti on Alekha. Kareen's older sister, Karisma, was also pictured applying tika on Alekha.
The ceremony was also attended by Saif Ali Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Nanda. Saif also twinned with his wife Kareena, donning a blue kurta.
Aadar and Alekha were dressed in coordinated white outfits. Alekha was dressed by the luxury couture brand Shantnu & Nikhil. The couple confirmed their relationship in November 2023, after which they announced their engagement in September this year, sharing heartwarming pictures of the proposal in the Maldives, where Aadar got down on one knee by the sea.
Aadar is the son of Manoj Jain and Reema Kapoor, the daughter of late actor and director Raj Kapoor. He has appeared in films like Hello Charlie and Qaidi Band.
Alekha is the daughter of businessman Harry Advani and Ninz Advani. She was raised in Mumbai and completed her Bachelor of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in New York. She is the founder of Way Well, a wellness community in Mumbai.
