When will Tabu make her appearance in HBO series 'Dune: Prophecy'?

The 'Chandni Bar' actress will play Sister Francesca in the series, the former lover of the Emperor

Fans have been waiting for Tabu's much-anticipated debut in HBO's Dune: Prophecy. The series, which is a prequel spin-off to Denis Villeneuve's Dune series, released on JioCinema on November 18.

Tabu will play Sister Francesca in the series, the former lover of the Emperor. The Chandni Bar actress has finally spilled the details on when she will make an appearance in the show. In an Instagram post, she shared a picture of her dress in the traditional black Bene Gesserit attire. In the caption, she revealed that Sister Francesca will arrive on the show on December 15 on HBO Max, and December 16 on JioCinema.

Fans took to the comments to share their excitement. One user wrote, “This frame screams power,” while another commented, “Woowww cannot wait for the superstar”. Many were also quick to notice that Tabu will only make an appearance in the final two episodes. One user commented, “wait? on episode 5??? seriously?” while another wrote, “Casting Tabu in a series and relegating her to a mere two episodes out of six is not just disappointing it's disrespectful. To limit her screen presence to a fleeting appearance is a waste of immense potential, robbing audiences of the opportunity to witness her unmatched artistry.”

The actress will make an appearance in episode 5, In Blood, Truth. The series finale will be aired on December 22.
